Insolvency
Insolvency is a financial situation in which the debtor cannot pay his debts on time or a situation in which the amount of the debtor's debts is higher than the value of his assets. Since the economic life in the country requires taking credit, it also requires taking the risk associated with the fact that the credit does not settle on time. The realization of this risk is not zero.
In the past, a state of insolvency was seen as a matter of a distinctly negative nature. Recently there have been transformations and the attitude has changed since today it is already clear that a state of insolvency is a natural state in the economy since statistically, the risk of not being able to pay the credit taken out is realized in a certain number of cases.
However, there have also been changes in relation to those in a state of insolvency, the individuals and the companies. Insolvency law is based on the premise that an insolvency event is a multi-participant event that involves economic questions but also moral questions that require regulation and finding a solution.
The effective solution is the rehabilitation of the debtor and this, among other things, is the purpose of the law. The rehabilitative approach as mentioned is intended to bring about the economic rehabilitation of the debtor, and it also serves the interests of the creditors and the economy as a whole and promotes other important values.
Our office deals with situations of insolvency of individuals and companies.
Individuals - our office represents individuals who have fallen into a situation of insolvency in order to bring them to a state of receiving discharge from the state - erasing debts, their economic rehabilitation and their return to the productive circle in society.
Companies - our office provides service and support to companies in a state of insolvency and their creditors, among other things, by submitting applications for liquidation, rehabilitation, reaching creditor settlements, and also provides advice for these situations.
