Immigration and citizenship

The office of Rumanovski & Co. places itself on the guard of human rights in an uncompromising way. Both in the field of civil law in general and in the field of immigration and citizenship law. The firm acts with determination and stands by its clients in the face of the challenges related to settling their status in Israel.
Many of those who seek to obtain status in a foreign country, feel that they encounter arbitrariness and opacity on the part of the relevant authorities.
Status in humanitarian cases - Israeli immigration law does not facilitate status applicants in humanitarian cases. However, there is a way to obtain status by contacting an inter-ministerial committee that was established to handle exceptional cases that justify its intervention. The committee must exercise its full discretion in the manner of treatment in every case. To present the individual case before the committee in the most correct and professional manner, the involvement of a lawyer who has scored in the field of immigration law is required. An appeal to the committee by a lawyer significantly increases the chance of receiving status in justified cases. In some cases, considering the rejection of the application for deferred status, there is no escape from taking it to court.
our office is engaged in submitting appropriate petitions and conducting proceedings in the relevant courts.
Status in cases of asylum requests and refugees - the main right granted to a refugee is the prohibition of his deportation back to the country from which he fled. Thus, and since the State of Israel ratified the treaty on October 1, 1954 and the protocol on June 14, 1968, apparently Israel must act in accordance with this treaty. However, it is a complicated legal system whose implementation is lacking.
Refugee status for people who refuse to serve in the army - the service is relevant for those who live in countries that are running armed conflicts and are recruiting their own citizens. In the center of the map are the countries of Ukraine and Russia today.
The status of a refugee can arise in the case of fear of prosecution and punishment for desertion or evading military service, accompanied by other relevant motives for leaving one's country or remaining outside its territory, or if one has other reasons to fear persecution and, among other things, if military service requires participation in military action which is contrary to his honest political, religious or moral beliefs, or for valid reasons of conscience.
Status for foreign spouses of citizens and permanent residents - spouses of whom one is not Israeli or is not Jewish and who wish to live in Israel together before or after their wedding encounter difficult bureaucratic barriers. This procedure requires the involvement of an expert in the field since the procedure for regulating status in Israel is a long and tedious procedure. Accompaniment by a lawyer can shorten the procedure and bring desired results while saving financial means and making the procedure more convenient and simpler.
